This collection of recordings features scenes from a full day in the deserts of central Australia: pre-dawn birdsong echoing around Ormiston Gorge, a flock of wild budgerigars, Chiming Wedgebills ('the wind chimes of the desert'), desert dusk with katydids and Spotted Nightjar, rare desert frogs, the eerie wail of dingoes under a full moon. |
